The game treats teleportation not as a free pass across dangerous sections but as a tool with its own spatial logic: the exit pad's position and orientation determine where and how you arrive, making every warp a small geometry problem that must be solved before committing.
When to Hop, When to Warp
Many sections can be approached via a careful sequence of jumps or via a warp that bypasses them entirely — but the warp path often carries its own risk. Timing a jump through a standard gap feels familiar; timing a jump to land on a warp pad at the correct angle to arrive safely on the other side is a different kind of spatial thinking. The best levels in Hop Warp require both skills in alternation, denying the player the comfort of a single strategy.

Stages stay compact by design — the layouts are dense rather than sprawling, which keeps the difficulty rooted in configuration complexity rather than memorisation length.
