Castle Pals is a co-op platformer built around the simple truth that games are better with a friend — and significantly more chaotic. Two players navigate trap-laden castle floors together, boosting each other over walls, covering angles the other can't reach, and occasionally getting each other killed through enthusiastic but poorly timed assistance. It's the kind of game where blaming your partner is half the fun.
Each player controls independently, but many obstacles require coordination: one holds a pressure plate while the other crosses, or one provides a leg-up to reach a higher platform. The castle gets progressively meaner — spikes that punish impatience, enemies that split your attention, and rooms designed specifically to exploit the moment both players go in different directions at once.
Player 1 uses WASD to move and jump; Player 2 uses arrow keys. Single-player mode is available but strips out the cooperative mechanics that make the game click.
