Stealth, Safes, and a Gentleman Thief
Developed by Funtomic, Bob the Robber is a stealth platformer that became one of the most beloved flash-era browser games. You play as Bob, a Robin Hood-inspired thief who targets corrupt criminals rather than innocent victims. Each level is a multi-floor building filled with guards, cameras, laser grids, and locked safes. The challenge is navigating each floor undetected, disabling security systems, cracking safes, and reaching the exit with your loot.
How to Play
Move with arrow keys or WASD. Stand behind a guard and wait for the right moment to knock them out with a tap of your action key. Interact with keypads, cameras, and safes by standing in front of them and pressing the action button. Safe cracking requires you to stop the dial at the right moment — listen for the click or watch the indicator. Avoid walking into guard line-of-sight or camera cones.
Stealth Tips
- Guards have a turning pattern — count their steps and strike during the moment they face away from you.
- Disable cameras before crossing open corridors; a camera catching you alerts nearby guards even if they aren't looking.
- Safes reward patience — rushing the dial combination increases your chance of triggering an alarm.
