Into the Corruption
Blightborne is a dark action RPG set in a world consumed by corruption. As a warrior sent to halt the spreading blight, you fight through dungeons filled with corrupted creatures, collect equipment and upgrades, and confront increasingly powerful bosses guarding the deeper reaches of the infection. The combat rewards timing and aggression — enemies are aggressive, and passive play gets punished.
How to Play
Move with WASD or arrow keys and attack with the mouse or designated attack keys. Dodge rolls give you a brief window of invincibility — use them to avoid heavy attacks rather than tanking hits. Loot dropped by enemies and bosses improves your damage and defense. Spend upgrade points between encounters to strengthen your character for the next section.
Combat Tips
- Learn enemy attack tells before committing to a combo — many enemies have an uninterruptible wind-up animation before their heavy strike.
- Don't spend all your dodge stamina at once. Holding one dodge in reserve is often the difference between surviving a burst and taking a lethal hit.
- Prioritize armor upgrades against boss fights; damage matters more for clearing dungeon mobs quickly.
