Survive the Swarm and Build Your Power
Astro Survivors is a space-themed roguelite auto-shooter in the tradition of Vampire Survivors. Your ship fires automatically — your job is to dodge the ever-growing alien swarms while collecting experience orbs to level up. Each level-up presents a choice of upgrades, and the build you assemble over a run determines whether you can survive long enough to face the game's escalating boss encounters.
How to Play
Move your ship with WASD or the arrow keys. Weapons fire on their own. Enemies spawn from off-screen in increasing numbers as time passes. Collect glowing orbs from defeated aliens to fill your XP bar. On level-up, choose one of three offered upgrades — new weapons, weapon improvements, or passive stat boosts. Survive as long as possible.
Build Tips
- Prioritize area-of-effect weapons early — they handle crowd swarms far better than single-target options.
- Movement speed upgrades are underrated: being faster means you collect orbs without taking damage.
- Focus on upgrading two or three weapons to max rather than spreading across many weak ones.
