12 MiniBattles is a local two-player party game developed by Mariano Maffia under the Shared Dreams studio. It first launched on Android in July 2017, made its browser debut in November 2018, and took second runner-up at the 2018 CrazyGames Developer Contest — recognized for its clever two-player design, retro-inspired graphics, and relentless pacing. Modern versions pack between 36 and 70 unique minigames into a single package.
The minigame roster is wildly varied: soccer duels, wrestling bouts, sniper standoffs, space battles, and plenty of absurd physics-based confrontations. Each round lasts only seconds, making it one of the most frenetic shared-screen experiences available in a browser — no setup, no accounts, just two players and a keyboard.
Two players share the same keyboard. Each minigame displays its controls on screen before starting, so there is nothing to memorize in advance. First to secure the required wins in each battle claims the round. The breakneck switching between game types keeps both players reacting and laughing from start to finish.
